Our Pastor

Rev. Julie Hill

Julie began her ministry at Cornelius Presbyterian in December 2025. Prior to coming to us, Julie served as a transitional pastor at Sparta Presbyterian; solo pastor at Norwood First Presbyterian; and associate pastor at Davidson College Presbyterian Church.

Julie is a native of Wilmington, NC. She graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science, then worked as a marketing representative for IBM in Richmond, VA. After more than a decade at home while her children were young, Julie received a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Charlotte in 2007.

She and her husband, Thomas Jennings, have two adult children and one grandchild. Julie is passionate about worship, pastoral care, and reaching out to the community. She loves reading, spending time with family and friends, and good food.
